Archaeological site of Doña Blanca
Phoenician site from the 8th century to the 3rd century BC where remains of houses, walls, the largest river port in the Mediterranean and a necropolis have been found, it is therefore, together with the one found in Cádiz and Chiclana, the oldest Phoenician city found so far in the Iberian Peninsula. The discovery in this site of one of the oldest intact wineries in the world indicates the stupendous state of conservation of the Doña Blanca site.
